Frankie the Frost Elf

Updated: Feb 27, 2023

Elves love nature and magic, art and artistry, music and poetry, and the good things of the world. They are more often amused than excited, and more likely to be curious than greedy.

She is Frankie the Frost elf. Frost Elves are described by humans and other races that see them as hauntingly beautiful apparitions, since their separation from the forest years before they have become a bit stockier than their cousins, having developed a thin layer of natural fat for insulation, their skin is pale to white with long extremely vivid hair ranging from white to rainbow colors such as pink, blue or purple and their eyes are usually purple, blue, magenta or white.

Her pattern is an easy one, suitable for beginners. It includes the pattern of her magic wand too. For this, you are going to need a piece of dry wooden stick ( I picked mine at the local park)

I tried to reduce the sewing by making the head and the body to be a single piece. And I will show you a great method to prevent the head from tilting backwards. I call it neck stiffener but if you know a better word to name it please let me know below in the comment section.

Elf Pattern

Neck Stiffener

¨ This will be a tube-like shape, that needs to be inserted into the neck after the head is filled and most of the body part is already done. Do it as the leg, but it is just 10 Round "tall".

¨ Must be filled very firmly- seeing the filling is not an issue at this point, it is a must :) - if it is done as written it will prevent the head from tilting backwards.

¨ Insert it into the neck after Row 28 - - approximately half of it goes into the head and half of it stays in the body

Congratulation ! All the parts are done. Attach them and embroider the details. If you can't stop crocheting elves I recommend you my other elf patterns.
